JANE & PAUL

Jane is an award-winning Personality, Podcaster, Co-Founder of the KindnessCan Movement, Kindness Facilitator, host on the app Moms Heart and owner of The Kind Studio.

Paul is a psychologist, author of the book #Raisingkids To Thrive in a constantly changing world. With local and international working experience Paul is a regular commentator on emotional intelligence and purposeful living.

If you have ever met Jane, you will know she is a burst of colour and sunshine. She is authentic, approachable and warm. If Jane Linley-Thomas were to appear in the dictionary, you’d find the following words next to her name: “high-energy, passionate, inspirational and exuberant”.

Jane has been with East Coast Radio (ECR) since 2004 and hosted a number of different shows during her time with them. She currently hosts the Weekend Breakfast show and has grown a large listenership, social media following and an international KindnessCan audience. In addition, she recently embarked on a 6-part podcast series with the radio station, talking about all things Kind, together with KindnessCan cofounder psychologist and bestselling author, Paul Bushell. The dynamic duo recently collaborated on two children’s books which are launching soon, public speaking engagements, personalised KindnessCan Workshops and appeared in a variety of mainstream media outlets and interviews. “Kindness is a choice and I truly believe we all have the ability to bridge our differences by choosing to be kind to ourselves and others. Kindness doesn’t bow to creed, status or religion, kindness is alive in all of us,” said Jane Linley-Thomas.

The bubbly and tenacious go-getter loves fashion and all things bright and beautiful! The proudly KwaZulu-Natal mother of 3, has a heartwarming, candid and inspiring story, fuelled by connection, vulnerability, heart and optimism. Jane has a desire to uplift and inspire women, as well as the empowerment of whole communities, using her various public platforms and talents to promote the tools that are not readily available to those in need. The former St Anne’s Diocesan College student has a thirst and passion for stories and thrives on being a conduit for experience. Her overwhelming nurturing spirit, centres around shift, healing and inclusion, which extends to every person she meets. Her view is that we have more in common then we think.

Paul believes that every act of kindness - no matter how big or small - has the potential to change the world. He offers a variety of Talks and Workshops on various topics including, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership, Mindfulness, Career Development.

Paul is also the co-founder of the KindnessCan Movement and the co-host of the KindnessCan podcast series.
