Sportsman, adventurer & inspirational speaker
Joey Evans has always been a keen sportsman and up for an adventure.
He’s run several marathons and ultra-marathons, hiked the fish river canyon, finished the Roof of Africa enduro, raced in the Botswana Desert 1000 and ridden his dirt bike throughout South Africa as well as in Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, Kenya, Paraguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Lebanon and Morocco.
Joey Evans inspired people across the world when he pulled off a near-impossible dream, dragging his battered motorbike along with his broken body over the finish line of the 9000km Dakar Rally.
Finishing the longest, most grueling and dangerous off-road race in the world, was the dramatic end to his extraordinary journey after breaking his back and being paralysed 10 years earlier.
